A global site redesign for Goldman Sachs.

I worked with the team at Publicis Sapient to overhaul the Goldman Sachs website. My focus was on the IA and restructuring of their search database alongside the insights area which collated videos and articles for their clients.

The goal of the project was to rethink and restructure how users were able to search and find insights and data for their investments and clients. I kicked off the project with some in-depth competitor research and heuristic analysis covering global search and insights. The findings from this supported the UX strategy and initial proposal put forward to the client.

Following on from the competitor research and heuristic analysis I started regular workshops with the team to develop the initial wireframes.

During the discovery phase I explored several variations of the components used within global search. The final components were then moved into design.

Through several review meetings with the client we then further developed the lo-fi wireframes into high fidelity final designs.

Project Outcome

The final designs were reviewed with the client and once fully refined they were moved into build. Following the redesign we saw a 60% increase in traffic within the insights area in the first month.
