B2B supply chain software dashboard for large scale orders.

Working with a team of Product Designers on Dell's B2B supply chain software. Ensuring the end-to-end purchase flow gives users a seamless experience when items are out of stock or have lengthy wait times.

The supply chain software is part of Dells B2B offering which allows businesses to make large scale orders. The project goal was to rethink the UX of the current journeys and redesign the end-to-end dashboard.

I started the project with some competitor research, UX analysis and workshops with the team to identify gaps in the current journey.

Following the research I mapped out the entire end-to-end journey and reviewed this with the engineering and product teams to ensure everyone was aligned.

I then developed some lo-fi wireframes of the dashboard and various states in the customer journey.

I built out the final design components and variants, aligning with Dells currrent design system.

Project Outcome

Once the design phase was complete, the dashboard was added to the engineering backlog. Analytics showed the supply chain dashboard saw 40% less drop off from customers becoming frustrated with missing items in their orders.
